Stealing the Preacher

Stealing the Preacher by Karen Witemeyer is the first book I have had the pleasure of reading by her.  The story of a fathers love for his child is very heartwarming, especially since he is an outlaw Make that former outlaw.  The characters’ are very experienced in plan Bs of life.  The daughter wants to breathe life into the church. The father reforms from being an outlaw for the love of his deceased wife.  Everybody is experiencing an interrupted life.  We all need life interruptions.  They are what make life exciting.  The whole premise of the book is hilarious.  It also has some heartbreaking moments with the little boy across the way.
