Rise And Shine The Most fun Fairytale of the Summer. by Sandra D, Bricker

Rise And Shine is a Contemporary  Fairy Tale by Sandra D. Bricker.  Just like Sleeping Beauty she awakens after a long sleep with future protector by her side.  I love the Prince and Princess comments and the beginning of each chapter.  I read the book originally in E-Book  form but I enjoyed reading in paperback style better.  Her style of writing in this book Is like springtime.  Sandra gift of humor is what brings the fresh upbeat style to her books.  Shannon was in a coma for 10 yrs.  While she is asleep many things have passed her by.  So when she wakes up every thing is fresh and new and ready to bloom.

Before her accident Shannon had a love for the oldies Such as The Dick Van Dyke Show and I Love Lucy.  In the beginning she had amnesia   I really identify with Shannon in  that she was out of it for a long time and the world went on with out her.  Then one day she awoke and she did not know what had happened to her.  This was the beginning of an amazing adventure for her and those around her that love her.   Shannon had to find her identity in who she was in Christ and what God has for her to do outside of who she once was. Her best friend Izzie, well I wish we all could have a best friend/cheerleader like her.

The first book in her new series is If the Shoe Fits this fairy tale is looking for Prince Charming  .
I have not clicked with another of Sandra Bricker’s characters in this fashion since Sherilyn in Always The Wedding Planner Never The Bride  of The Emma Rae Collection.
Congratulations You now have the best summer reading book list Ever.    For a sample reading of her books click here

Why I love HP Hunger Games and Star Wars.

###########SPOILER ALERTS###########

Why I love HP Hunger Games and Star Wars.  They are pictures of love.  The power of love conquers in the end, Unconditional Love, Peeta’s love for Katniss is what saved her in the end.  Dandelion yellow beautiful blooms and matures and blows away to create more beauty. Shouldn’t we create the same kind of circle of life Their children as they danced on the meadow.
In the celebration with the Ewoks they danced.  In HP it is pictured with Albus Severus Potter. Snape loved Lily.  Enough to protect Harry even tho he though he was a little snot.  True Love.  Did he make a mistake very much so!!
Jesus loves us sacrificed all so we can live with Him.  Snape died so that Harry Could live.  Obi One died so that Luke could live.  Luke did this when he went to Darth Vader to turn him from the dark side.  Peeta gives up everything to protect her and make her happy.  Being willing to die for her to live and live free of guilt.  I think Suzanne Collins has created something special in Peeta.   Thank you Jesus for you loving me.

I LOVE Valentine's Day.

I just love February so many good things happen in February.  My daughter was born if February.  You begin to see a glimmer of hope that winter is drawing to a close (hopefully).  You also have February 14.  I love Valentines day.  I am single so I know that is unusual for most singles.  It is a time to celebrate love.  So many people are lonely this time of year they feel left out and unloved. Romantic commercials are on for what to do on this day that the media surrounds us as romantic love.  I choose to celebrate as the love of Christ.  He loves us no matter what we do.  He created us to have a relationship with Him.  He gave us free will.  Let this year be a year  to choose Him.  If you already have find someone else you know that will be alone and invite them to a party at your home or go to a movie.  If you cant find anyone just spend the evening reading His word and let his love surround and invade you.  Invite Him in.  Welcome Him in.

Erin Brocavich Eat your heart out.

Best Selling author Creston Mapes new book Poison Town comes out this month. I was given a copy for my honest review.  Honestly I LOVED it. I almost passed out several times. (from holding my breath).  The suspense was amazing and twisted and convoluted and thrilling and ... well you get the picture. I read his first book in this series Fear Has A Name.  It was surrounding Jack Crittendon also.  If you have read this book you will recognize a few special appearances.
Fear has a Name was full of suspense also.  I recommend it but it is not necessary to read Poison Town.  It does however put a few things in perspective in where Jack is in his spiritual walk and his tendency to go off the reservation.  The family ties just make your heart feel good.  Yes guys there are some feel good moments in them. Suspense and mystery make this a top ten book for 2013 (I read it early) and 2014 for me. Check out more here..

A Year of Brides A gift from Zondervan

A Year of Brides.  Zondervan has a year of Brides coming out in Novella form.  I have read January, February, and May.   The characters are very different in each one yet they have a theme.  The theme is marriage, duh. Not just the marriage to a man but a marriage to The Lamb of God.  We are the Bride of Christ. Each hero and heroine has their own struggles in preparing for the wedding day both here and That day when He calls His Bride.  I recommend this very highly as they are sweet and entertaining and at the same time inspiring to spend more time preparing for that day in drawing closer to Him now. Watch out each month for the new one. You don't want to miss a single one.  Here

Saving Savannah Book Review

I love stories placed in New Orleans. I love the women in this book they don't give up they push for what they believe in.  Tante LuLu will not give up.  She is very brazen as she follows on what she believes her mission from God is.  I haven't ever read anything  in this series before but I am looking forward to more of Tante LULU's mischief matchmaking and more of Gods grace that she shows. Saving Savanah Sandra HIll
