Book Review The Next Target Spoiler Alert

May 10th 2012 The Next Target is well written and addresses some issues I have not seen in other books.  Austia is teaching English to Muslim women.  I want to brave and have the courage that Ausita has in ministering to women that are treated as property by their culture.  It brings home the treatment and profiling by Americans of Muslim people.  Looking into the world of the women just breaks your heart.  This adventure in reading was soul stirring.  Not a fluffy read to be sure but one well worth the effort.  The mystery component is really good with good character development .  I hope to continue the journey later in a sequel.  The evil reminds me of the evil in This Present Darkness by Frank Peretti.  Moves you to pray for those around you in a warfare kind of way.

Social Media

Social Media.  I have had a blast learning about all things social media.  I have so much yet to learn.  The thing that has helped me the most has been twitter.  I made some key connections with people down here in The big Texas.  I now follow some of them on twitter and they link to articles on all things social media.  It is a adventure that I love. What is your favorite social media and why?

Ok Chicas.  I am a little sleepy so I will keep this short.  Why am I sleepy you ask?  Glad you asked, I was having such a time in my adventure to Tanglewood Inn in Georgia last night I could not put my book down. Audrey was in such a sad place and she really felt she couldn't share what was going on in her life.  She had great friends who she could talk to but just could not do it.  Spoiler alert ( just a little) .   The stories of what  all the characters in it was fun so I knew she would pull out of it.  And the guy on the bike, well how could you stop.  You just wanted to jump on the bike to feel the wind in you hair.  Well just around the block with out a helmet. Sounds fun.  To top it off you can see the hand of God as she begins to strengthen her relationship with Him.  The outcome shows take your time God has in all in His hand.  I said I was keeping it short.  I could go on and on.

Audrey tried to isolate her self.  I know from first hand experience how easy that is.  Especially when things are going great for all those around you and nothing is going like you want it to.  I think sometimes we let pride get in the way.  Maybe we need to trust the Godly men and women that God has put in our lives to share the everyday heaviness that happens from time to time. His yoke is easy and His burden is light.  He gives us people to speak into our lives.  Go to Him and He will make your burden light.  and He loves you and wants you to have some fun.  So just let some Jesus dance in. This is a must read. Sandra great job.  Cant wait to read the next installment.
